Dr. Susan Allen is Associate Professor of Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason University, where she directs the Center for Peacemaking Practice.  She is active in conflict resolution initiatives addressing the Georgian-Abkhaz and Georgian-South Ossetian conflicts, the Armenia-Turkey relationship, and in evaluation of conflict resolution initiatives.  Her other research focuses on action research, reflective practice, and learning in conflict resolution practice.  Susan serves on the Board of the Alliance for Conflict Transformation. Previously, she served on the Board of the Alliance for Peacebuilding.  Susan holds a Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason University.
